Phil Donnison CTA
Having worked as a tax adviser in the UK and mainland Europe for more than 10 years, Philip qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1980. That year, he founded Jeffcote Donnison LLP in Mayfair, London.
For the past 33 years, he has been the Senior Partner of the firm, providing personal and corporate tax advisory services and a range of business consultancy services to a wide variety of clients, as well as developing the firm.

Pheroze Sorabjee BA LLM
Pheroze Sorabjee graduated in Economics and Philosophy from Elphinstone College, University of Bombay and qualified as an Advocate in Bombay.
He then did his Master of Laws degree at London University (LSE) before joining the tax department of Arthur Andersen in London where he trained in tax and worked for six years before joining Jeffcote Donnison.
Pheroze is a senior partner of Jeffcote Donnison LLP.
David Dongworth MCMI
David manages the payroll department dealing with in excess of 60 client employers. He advises on payroll compliance issues and on associated employment law matters.
He deals with a portfolio of both personal and business tax cases and preparation of client Tax Returns within the Tax department.
Matthew Gandy CTA
Matthew provides a bespoke and personal tax and business advisory service to high net worth individuals and their families.
While he practices in a variety of personal and business taxation issues and has a particular interest in private client and entrepreneurial matters, wealth preservation and estate planning for non-domiciled UK and overseas resident individuals.read more about Matthew Gandy
Having joined Jeffcote Donnison in 1987, Matthew qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in 1992 and has been a Partner since 1994.
Matthew is married and has three daughters. He is a keen fan of most sports and is a keen supporter of Leicester City Football Club and the England cricket team. He also enjoys reading crime thrillers, music and travel.
Nicholas J. Paling FCCA
Nicholas qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1985, becoming a Fellow of the Association in 1990. After becoming a graduate of the Association in 1980, he trained with the top twenty firm Robson Rhodes, in their Bradford office, before moving to London to join Slaven Jeffcote LLP in 1985.
Nicholas became an audit partner in Slaven Jeffcote in 1995, and since becoming the senior audit partner in Slaven Jeffcote LLP, the firm has doubled in size. Nicholas as senior partner, with his fellow partners manages the firm’s clients providing a wide range of services including audit and accounting services to a broad base of over 250 Owner Managed Businesses.read more about Nicholas Paling
Nicholas has developed the firm’s “Art and Antique Dealer” team. In addition to providing audit and accounting services to Art and Antique Dealers, the team provides bookkeeping services including the maintenance of VAT compliant stock books, and advising clients on VAT – Margin scheme for works of art and antiques.
Nicholas heads up the firm’s business consultancy team which provides amongst other services, the provision of Due Diligence Reports for potential acquisitions by clients and the provision of Cash Flow and Profit Projection reports for clients banking facilities requirements.
Nicholas also joined Jeffcote Donnison LLP, as partner in 2000, to provide an accounting input in their business consultancy team.
